EveryDay Labs In Attendance at Austin—TASA Midwinter 2022

Last week, we had the pleasure of new connections and insightful conversations with district leaders from across Texas at the TASA Midwinter Conference in Austin, Texas. Excitement was in the air as the fully in-person event brought us together again for engaging sessions, a vibrant exhibit hall, and many fun gatherings in between.

At Booth #316, the EveryDay Labs team was chatting with customers about our proven-effective attendance intervention, EveryDay Intervention, and brand new attendance analytics and web-based platform, EveryDay Pro!

Our signature saffron brightened everyone’s visit to the exhibit hall.

Family engagement strategies play no small role in the success of EveryDay Intervention, and we were particularly excited that our Family Engagement Advisor and Harvard Professor Dr. Karen L. Mapp was a TASA Thought Leader this year. She led a fantastic session on how schools can welcome families as partners and co-creators in the academic success of their students.

Dr. Mapp presents best practices for family engagement, including her Dual Capacity-Building Framework for Family-School Partnerships.

Another must-see session was a panel breakout with our partners at Dallas ISD. This panel included district leaders Dr. Elena Hill, Stella Kastl, and Derek Little, as well as our Chief Scientist, Dr. Todd Rogers, and was moderated by Director of District Partnerships, Dr. Nicole Bosworth.

The Dallas leaders shared their attendance best practices and why EveryDay Intervention has worked so well for their district. Notable to the conversation was their success with a multi-tiered approach to attendance that includes ongoing professional learning using the EveryDay Data insights and dashboard, and celebrated successful site-based, data-driven attendance interventions. They were enthusiastic about the low-burden intervention and how it has helped them connect families with resources in real-time and support targeted student subgroups.

We are energized from such a great conference and can’t wait to continue the great conversations with district leaders at AASA in Nashville next week! Swing by Booth #236 and say hi, or schedule a meeting with us to learn more about our attendance solutions!

Getting students on track starts with attendance. We can help.
